Swedish Massage Therapy
Relaxes muscles and relieves aches and pains. Technique includes gliding over muscles with kneading and lifting strokes, oil or lotions.
Connective Tissue Massage
The intention to free up muscles and improve posture. This technique is deep tissue work that stretches and lengthens muscle and is great for range of motion.
Trigger Point or Neuromuscular Therapy
This therapy goes hand in hand with connective tissue work. Locate and work on specific areas located in the muscle that may have a knot or ropy texture. These areas often cause pain in places other than in that actual muscle.

How long will the session last?
The average full-body massage session lasts approximately one hour. A half-hour massage only allows time for a partial massage session, such as neck and shoulders, back or legs, and feet. Always allow relaxation time prior to and after session.
Are there any medical conditions that would make a massage or bodywork inadvisable?
Yes. That is why it is imperative that before you begin your session, the practitioner asks general health questions. It is very important that you inform the practitioner of any health problems or medications you are taking.
Must I be completely undressed?
Most massage techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own comfort. You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
